It's a Series, But...

I've had a few people email me to ask if they need to read LOCAL GIRLS in order to read RICH BOYS. While this is a series, the books all have different main characters but are related in some way. So, for example, in LOCAL GIRLS, Kendra works at the Willow Inn for the summer with a girl named Shelby. Shelby has a sister named Winnie, and Winnie is the main character in RICH BOYS. So, you don't necessarily need to read the first book to understand the second, but there are lots of little things in RICH BOYS that will be more fun to read if you get the connection to LOCAL GIRLS. The third book's main character appears in RICH BOYS but only in one scene, although she'll get her own story in the next book.

So there you go. Do you need to read book #1 to understand book #2? No. Will reading LOCAL GIRLS make reading RICH BOYS more fun? Absolutely. And Kendra even makes an appearance in RICH BOYS, so it all comes full circle.

Besides, I love both books equally. So I'd hate you miss out on either!
